Cuba is a country that ratifies their vision, convinced to move towards a sustainable and efficient, sustainable and competitive industry, through its ability to contribute to development programs in the country. With this premise, was inaugurated on Monday morning, the Second International Convention & Exposition of the Cuban Industry, CubaIndustria 2016, which will be held until Friday in the capital's International Conference Center and Fairgrounds PABEXPO. During the opening remarks, Salvador Pardo Cruz, Cuban Minister of Industries, said, as strategic sectors, light industry, metallurgy, electronics and chemistry. In addition, he noted the importance of manufacturing equipment for the use of renewable energy sources, automating processes, and proper use of graphic and industrial designs.

For the first time, we share with a representation of American entrepreneurs, in order to identify common interests, Pardo Cruz said. He added that this second edition has as guest of honor to the Republic of Russia, taking into account the realization of projects of high impact associated with, among others, the modernization of the Cuban metallurgical sector. He also highlighted the projects related to the modernization of appliances, consumer goods, transportation and use of renewables in China, which has the broadest representation in the appointment energies.

The meeting, attended by 600 visitors from 29 countries and representatives of Cuban 1 600 entities, was chaired by Ramiro Valdes Menendez, a member of the Political Bureau and vice president of the Council of State and Ministers; and Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, vice president of the Council of Ministers.
